Why This Exists

Families don’t lose history in one day — it fades slowly. TinyTeam helps you preserve it with clarity and care.

Scattered information

Names, photos, stories end up across phones, chats, albums, and folders — with no single home to return to.

No clear structure

Without a simple structure, branches become confusing — especially across generations and different households.

Files get lost

Photos get replaced, accounts get forgotten, links expire — and family history disappears quietly.

Privacy worries

Many families avoid online tools because they don’t want their information public or searchable.

Hard to reconnect

When relatives haven’t seen each other for years, it’s hard to know where to start — TinyTeam builds a bridge.

Not print-ready

Most digital collections can’t become a clean archive later — we build yours with print in mind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers — so you feel safe and confident before starting.

What if our family is complicated?
That’s normal. We structure what’s known, label uncertainty clearly, and keep it easy to update as you discover more.
Can this work even if we don’t know everyone in the family?
Yes. We start with what you have, then leave clean placeholders for future additions and corrections.
How can this reconnect relatives who haven’t seen each other for years?
By giving everyone a shared reference: names, branches, relationships, and stories organized clearly—so conversations restart naturally.
What if we only know nicknames, old photos, or “stories from elders”?
That’s enough to start. We document sources, label items clearly, and keep room for later verification.
Can it connect my mother’s side and father’s side properly?
Yes. We structure branches separately first, then link them through the correct relationships, marriages, and children.
What about sensitive situations (adoption, separation, illegitimate children)?
We handle them respectfully and privately, with clear labels and optional visibility rules depending on your preference.
What if family members don’t agree or aren’t ready to participate?
No problem. The archive can begin with one person’s collected materials. Participation can be optional and added later.
Is this public? Will our family show up on Google?
No. TinyTeam is privacy-first: no public profiles, no searchable database, shared only by your approval.
Can we update records later if we discover new relatives or corrections?
Yes. Updates are part of the long-term nature of the archive — we can apply revisions cleanly.
Why is TinyTeam different from a normal family tree tool?
Because it’s human-handled and built as an archive (not just a chart) — designed to stay understandable for future generations.
Do you need official documents to start?
No. Documents help, but we can start with names, dates, photos, and stories. We label “unverified” items clearly.
What do you mean by “valid entries”?
A person record with enough info to identify them in your archive (name + basic relation). Partial records are allowed and can be completed later.
How does the add-on for Photos / Docs work?
We organize your files into clean labeled folders and link them to people or branches so it stays easy to browse long-term.
Can I start with FAM and upgrade later?
Yes. Upgrades are designed not to “break lineage.” Your structure stays intact.
How long does manual review take?
After you submit, we review and email you next steps. Projects are handled one-by-one to protect quality and privacy.
Will I get a shareable link for my family?
Yes—after payment is verified, you’ll receive the member submission link and access instructions by email.
Can this become a printed family book later?
Yes. We build with print-ready structure in mind (A3/A4/A5), so you can convert it into an heirloom format later.
Can you include family stories and captions, not just names?
Yes. TinyTeam is built to preserve stories, context, and meaning—not just a chart.
Do you store our data in a public system?
No public database. Your library is handled privately and shared only with your approval.
What if I need help organizing everything?
You can request the “Customize the Design for Me” service. We’ll reply with scope and recommendations.
